The Original In-N-Out Burger in San Gabriel Valley
The first In-N-Out Burger opened its doors in Baldwin Park, California in 1948. Harry and Esther Snyder were the masterminds behind the delicious burgers, fries, and shakes that have come to be known and loved by millions. The original burger stand was just that—a tiny burger stand with a few stools for customers to sit on. There was no dining room, no drive-thru, and certainly no secret menu.
The Snyders’ Original vision for In-N-Out was simple: serve the highest quality burgers, fries, and shakes made with only the freshest ingredients in a clean and friendly environment—and they’ve managed to stick to that vision for more than 70 years.
One of the things that makes In-N-Out so special is that all of their restaurants are still owned and operated by the Snyder family. That commitment to family values is evident in everything they do, from the way they treat their employees to the way they make their food.
In-N-Out has always been committed to using only the freshest ingredients. Their beef is prepared fresh daily and delivered to each restaurant twice a day. They don’t use frozen beef patties like most other burger chains—and you can taste the difference! Their potatoes are also cut fresh daily and cooked in 100% sunflower oil.
The restaurant’s dedication to quality doesn’t just stop at the food. The cleanliness of their stores is important to them too. All of their restaurants are cleaned from top to bottom every night after closing so that they are sparkling clean for customers when they open the next day.
If you’re ever in Baldwin Park or any of the other In-N-Out locations across California, Arizona, or Nevada, be sure to stop by and try one of their famous burgers—you won’t be disappointed! And if you find yourself anywhere else in the country (or world), keep an eye out for an In-N-Out—they might just be coming to a location near you soon!
